    Also, is there anything to be salvaged by filling it back up with clutch fluid and hoping for the best? Or flat bed it?

    Same thing happened to me: the slave cylinder is kaput and will need replacing.

    It's a big job, since the gearbox has to come out due to the p.o.s Ford design where the slave cylinder sits inside the bellhousing.

    the part itself is cheap, but budget about 5 hours of labour for the whole thing.
