How notchy is notchy with R380 box

Hey guys another question just wonderimg how notchy the R380 gearboxes are normally my td5 110 is better with the new oil penrite sin 75 but thinking it should be smother... what I get is the normal lazy sincros when cold be even when hot I've got to really concentrate other wise it nicks 2nd an 3rd other gears are fine and smooth no issue...

just wondering if this is comon to model or my sincros are stuffed im leaning to the later but want to check b4 I order a bearing and sincro kit from ashcroft ready for when the clutch fails...

I did notice then when I bought the car but thought it was because I wasnt fully use to the car firdt job I did was change trans oil and it smelt and looked like epx90 in the box so thinking some undue wear has been done by previous owner.

    cheers Brian

Mine has now done 340k kms and shifts very smoothly. Was crunchy when I bought it 2 years ago but an oil change fixed it. Motul gear 300 is brilliant and even when hot the change doesnt deteriorate. I tried syntrans prior but it isnt as good as the motul.
