Is that headboard bent back or is that just distortion cause by the camera lens and the angle from which the photo was taken?

Yeah looks bent to me - don't care as I'll be ****ing it off and building a lock up canopy for the back.

    I've got an ex-Telstra 130 Extra Cab:

It was manufactured by Falcon Engineering up in Darwin, according to the stickers on the canopy and the mudflaps.

It's a 2001 TD5 with a Wolf diff/axle on the rear, dual batteries, snorkel, water tank, long range fuel tank. It is a very nice stretch job. The roof looks like it might have been bought from land rover, as there are no "home-made" fabrication marks on it.

I reckon you'll look for a LONG time to try and pick one up for $10K. We paid $20K for ours, but that was 5 or 6 years ago, with 120,000 on the clock.

Thanks - That's something like I want to end up with.
    I'm looking at a 1997 300tdi with 225,00klm for $10k at the moment.
There is one small patch of rust behind the seat, I got him to take some pics from under the car and it has cracked through.
Not a major thing but would need repairing.

    Done Deal

Thanks for all the input - I bit the bullet and bought a 130 extended cab today - fly to Sydney and drive it back to Brisbane on Thursday.
    The fun begins...

Starting to rebuild it - I'm putting up things as I do them in the 130 section here:
