Good afternoon all!

After a return trip down the Araluen track to the coast on the weekend I noticed when changing down from 3rd to 2nd a strange rubbing/whine noise from somewhere in the back of my D90. It's not audible in changing down through the other gears or up either.

Has anyone else heard the same and or know what it might be?
