Lights No Longer Flash When Unlocking

    Hi All!

I have a 2011 D110 and before when I would lock the doors, the turn signal lights would flash three times and when you unlock the doors, the lights will flash once. Just two days ago, the lights would no longer flash when unlocking but the doors would unlock. Is this something to worry about or maybe something that is indicative of a potential problem down the road?

    Thanks in advance.

On mine (2008 SVX) the flashing 3 times is an indication all doors are closed correctly.
Do you perhaps have a door not closed all the way.

    Hi kenleyfred,

Yes, when you lock the door the lights flash three times. If for some reason a door would not be properly closed or still open, the truck will hound it's horn to indicate as such.

I have closed all the doors properly and the doors lock and the lights flash three times. But when it comes to unlock, the lights no longer flash once together with the unlocking the doors. It stated Sunday afternoon and it's still like that until now.

Battery in the remote may be getting flat.

Yep, change the batteries as suggested above. I just recently had the same problem and I didn't get the batteries changed in time resulting in a rather embarrassing trip to the supermarket.

    Thanks BilboBoggles and Sue!

Will change it out right away! No wonder it was getting less responsive and that you had to get closer to it to get it to work.

    Hi All!

Just to update y'all, changed out the battery in the FOB as per manual instructions now all is right in the world. Apparently the list of symptoms were already written down in the manual, silly me. Looks like it's time for a refresher and read it from cover to cover again.

Thanks for all the assistance & support!

If there is anything in that manual that we should know feel free to let us know lol.. and make sure you replace the spare fob battery at the same time as mine went a week or so after the main fob - despite only being used a half dozen times..
