    SCRUBBING AT FULL LOCK

I just got the 110 back after being in a week at LR replacing both the front wheel hubs, and after a couple of days I noticed it is scrubbing at full lock to the left but not the right. I dont know where its hitting yet and I can't get it back to LR for a few days so Im curious if anyway could tell me why on earth this could be happening when it didnt happen previously.

    Its a 2012 110 Wagon.

    Cheers.

One of the steering stops is out of adjustment.

Further to scouse's post, easier way to adjust is to put the font axle on 2 axle stands and turn the wheels to full lock and spin. If you turn the wheels to full lock each way and do the spin test you will find where it's fouling. Adjust the stop bolt until the tyre is no longer catching. Do both tyres while your at it. If the other stop bolt is wound out too far you might get back some steering lock. Putting the axle on stands means you can turn lock to lock without the steering pump limiting lock to lock or the other tyre providing resistance thus not getting it to full lock. And it's faster to complete the task if you are doing it solo.

Thanks for that guys. I will see to it this afternoon. Will save me having to go back to LR.

    Cheers.
