SubscriberMy indicators have stopped working. Am I missing something simple, I checked the manual and do not see a fuse for the incator's. Indicator lights flash when I lock and unlock the car.
I had some work done on the cd unit, is there any indicator wires they could have pulled whilst doing it (I some how doubt it.
Any comments appreciated.
Cheers

SubscriberWarranty issue it maybe, but if it is something simple would be handy to have indicators over the weekend.
There must be a fuse for them but that's probably not the problem. Does your hazard switch make the indicators work? If so then it must be the indicator stalk that is unplugged or not working. Or it's something else!
If your hazard switch doesn't activate your blinkers then it could be your hazard relay but most likely your hazard switch hasn't been plugged in correctly after they worked on the cd player (if your blinkers stopped working straight after they fixed your cd player).
one more thing that you can quickly check yourself....
look under the steering wheel fuse compartment and check the 3rd row, second fuse from the bottom if your hazard lights don't work.

SubscriberJust as a side issue my 2002 has had that happen 3 times...as a quick fix its usually the pins on the relay shaking till they break contact ... I've just prized the cover of and resoldered the joints ( good get out of jail card ) .... I'd be getting a new one put in due to the. Warranty

SubscriberWell I tested the other switches above the cd head unit and a couple no longer worked.
I went back to the audio place that replaced my head unit and had them take it out and the check the wiring in the dash to the hazard light and rear demister switch.Sure enough they had been knocked lose during the install. There is not a lot of space in there easy to do I guess.
Anyway all fixed up so a warning to anyone changing the cd head unit check you're switches before you leave the shop.
Thanks to Aguy for the tip.
Cheers
