You will probably need the EKA code from the dealer, they will want the VIN no, it took me 4 weeks to get it from the UK.
Hopefully there is a quicker process.
Or try something random, like disconnect the battery for an hour,
Best of luck.

A mate has managed to mess up his defender by holding lock button on keys for too long...
Quick fix anyone???

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

can you do the key sequence? Dunno if that'll work, but worth a try.
The key sequence or EKA (Emergency Key Access?) is a secret code to override the computer. Your dealer has to get it for you & you have to tell him the VIN number.
When i got mine it came from the UK, although others say their Dealer could access it.
Based on turning the key in the ignition like a combination lock
Not sure if other marques have this as well ?

Check the fuses under the driver's seat, I spent a very frustrating couple of hours a few months ago stuck in a bunnings car park, got the emergency access code from a dealer but still no luck, the fuse had blown due to a broken wire in one of the door looms.
I had this happen to me too. My08 110 - Milly
It turned out to be a blown central locking fuse.
I got Davis Performace to use their diagnostic machine to switch off the immobiliser.
Now have it switched off permanently
Apparently not altogether uncommon, the central locking wires to the rear doors can get stretched, chafe and break- very common apparently where the doors have been fitted with the wide-opening modification. I didn't realise my RHR door had not been locking for who knows how long due to the broken wire, before the short occurred.
No reason to do away with the immobiliser in my opinion- I wonder what the insurance ramifications would be if the vehicle was stolen after an immobiliser had been, um, immobilised.
I'm aware of the stories about people being stranded in remote areas by immobilisers but I expect that if there's any basis to the stories, it is probably the same issue as above. Once you are aware of the fuse, it's a non-issue.
