Maybe not "about" them, but I say plenty of negative things "to" mine on a regular basis. The bastard doesn't listen, though.

We run brand new Isuzu Dmax on 15W40 mineral and they are superb. The old Hilux,s here have well over 180000km and have had all sorts of oil in their lives...... still going.

I think its just so stupid to put an engine in a car that needs a first world oil when it gets shipped to 3rd world countries. ???

On the contrary - I would say it is marketing genius for the parts department! How else are they going to sell all the engine rebuild kits???

They have to fit engines compliant with regulations, they have no choice. You say the Dmax's are new,how do you know they are not going to have the same problem once they get the K's up and will Isuzu cover the cost knowing they have run on the wrong oil?,older hilux's,the correct oil is 15w40.
