Standard puma doesn't like to go under 2000rpm when trying to get moving when towing or carrying heavy loads. Down changing under 2000rpm just makes the turbo struggle. With a remap the turbo comes in a lot earlier than standard, than you can change under 2000 rpm.
That hasn't been my experience,the torque band feels between 1800 and 2400 in mine. Pat

Agree, can lug to around 1,600rpm here on all but hill climbs no issue.
On a hill, need 1,800rpm to help with rpm loss during shift.
