    stop solenoid 300tdi defender

    hi all was wondering can anyone tell me? does a faulty stop solenoid make a noise, on my 300tdi defender been having trouble starting it, worse when its cold but also after sitting for a half hour or so when hot.
    been noticing a clatter sound that comes in short intervals seems to be around the injector pump area replaced the vacuum pump and brake booster still has the original lift pump and stop solenoid defender has 354000ks up any help appreciated cheers all

    youve got a blockage or are drawing air between the tank pickup and the IP.

    stop solinoid nope. another bloody vacum pump

    another bloody vacuum pump, used a all makes from ........offroad on the sunshine coast asked for a genuine they don't have them,will buy online from now on.
    will be glad when landrover speacilists reopen up here over crap parts.
