I have always not liked the built in roof top tents but this one has got me hooked.

I'm not fond of the tool box they appear to have bolted to the bonnet. Or maybe it's a BBQ? Whatever it is it's horrid.

    Rest of it looks

It's a little bit over the top, with all the brush bars, bonnet boxes ect, but i guess that's what alu-cab was trying to do.
It certainly has made plenty of publicity for them.

I like how the striped down one looks

With about as much room inside as a standard supermarket plastic bag!

Why put a roofrack on top of an elevating/pop top roof?

you can still load stuff on the roof rack and pop it up.

admittedly it works better if you put the heavy stuff towards the front so it's a little easier to pop the roof up the first little bit until the gas struts kick in but the gas struts will do the lifting from there and hold it up no problem.
