What did you get for your Land Rover for Christmas?

I bought a Nugget Stuff diff breather kit - not strictly necessary, but a nicely engineered bit of kit...

Fitting it wasn't quite the 10 minute job I'd imagined but still relatively straight forward.

What did you get for yours?

No specific present however the 130 has come under a little love and attention ticking off a few tasks begging for the past 6 months.

I pulled apart the winch controller and cleaned the terminals and re-assembled with a little gasket maker to help keep water out. For a while the controller was playing up not always engaging when required.

I fitted a plastic strip under the front wheel arch to keep out mud and water from the inner guard and engine bay after fitting flat dog flares almost 12 months ago.

Re-wired the battery box and auxiliary battery which was becoming a birds nest of wires. Only half done and I really should pull it out and start afresh with a healthy dose of labelling.

Re-wired the dual battery isolator and mounted it in the battery box.

Re-wired the fridge with an Anderson plug and rewired the cabling to the aux battery.

Wired in a pair of LED light strips to the underside of the roof top tent for lighting on the tray.

Found some storage boxes that fit the under side of the tray to store tools. That was a fluke with the vast majority of storage boxes sturdy enough for 4wding to be too tall for the space.

Removed the tool box off the tray ( requiring climbing under the tray in very cramped conditions) to make some mods to the tool box to suit the current set up.

Fitted nuggets air box kit and spent hours fart arsing around trying to water tight the snorkel to the panel which is less than ideal by Mantec. Mantec could have made it so simple by moulding the snorkel through the panel with a round outlet for the piping, but no it made it to be fixed to the panel with gaps all over.

    Merry Xmas

Bought a new flat roof rack for the Tardis and took of to Ballina with the GCLRO club. Raining at the moment but who cares, away with good friends and have plenty of beverages to keep us company.😄ImageUploadedByAULRO1419736417.006965.jpg

Electric brakes (Tekonsha P1) so it could tow the camper away on holiday over Christmas.
