I know that wet feet go with landies, but....
I have found a hole near the heater vent into the bulkhead and am fixing, but also found a small rust hole below windscreen hinge. So, while fixing these I was cleaning out fresh air intake and discovered that vacuum operated flap at wing vent has rusted too!!
Is it possible to get another vent flap and hinge piece? The flap isn't too bad, and the vac actuator is ok, but the hinge and frame for the vent is totally rusted.... Just sitting in space At the moment.
Was thinking of fabricating another but seems a fiddly job, and they just keep on coming!
Would really like to attach a new one if possible.
Any other options?
