Thread: Replacement Gauges for Defender

I'm a bit finicky about things looking factory

Long story short I'd like a pyrometer and 2 fuel gauges on my dash. One gauge for main tank, one for sub tank. All matching

Coolant temp is not an issue as I have a TM1 Watchdog hooked up

After plenty of research I have discovered to get a straight swap fuel gauge, I can use this one Vision Black Fuel Gauge, Use with 240-33 Ohm Sender, 12V | Vision Black | By Series | Instruments | VDO Instruments and Accessories

But it seems the only matching pyro I can get is in Fahrenheit.

If I go the other way, I can't get a fuel gauge that has the correct ohm range to match the VDO pyro

Just interested to see if anyone has gone down this road before?

And what they have done?

Defender fuel senders are approx 330-15 Ohms. Roughly 280 at empty and 14 ohms on full

They have Celsius EGT same part as Dervish suggests, there is a combo deal on EGT and boost I'd like to get, if only it was the most important thing at the moment
