air bags suspension rear of defender 110 wagon
Hi Guys, I think there are many threads about this topic already i hope someone can steer me to them, so not to waste your time answering questions.
I have read a lot of posts by the disco & RR owners about he issues effecting their reliability.
And it seems a lack of maintenance is the main one, and not appreciating the air spring is a consumable item, with a finite lifespan. Not like a steel spring you can ignore forever almost.
I'd like to stick to LR parts for the bags, ( or after market replacements).
There seems to be plenty of after market replacements and their price per bag is less than 200$.
My main questions are
i) will a disco 2 rear air bag be suitable for a defender? ( have 2" lift )
ii) should each air bag have it's own solenoid valve or is it OK to use one solenoid for two rear bags?
thanks for your advice cheers simmo
