    What is this?

    Hi guys, I'm just wanting to check what this plug is? It's in the back of my new radiator and looks like it could be going into an oil cooler. I think it's a temperature sender. Is this correct?

    That's alot of wires for a temp sender. I would expect the sender to ground via the threads, and have at most two connectors - one for the gauge and one for a warning lamp. Maybe the third connector is the ground after all - PFI tape is an effective insulator.

    That looks like a custom radiator and therefore not Defender specific. You might get more replies in Technical Chatter. I can move it if you like.
