    Fitting a snorkel...

    Just about to embark on a snorkel fit...

    I have had a good look at the OEM intake plastic pipework, it all seems pretty well sealed up to me and I cannot see how water could get in?? ...

    I am now just wondering if I am missing something here and should I install the 'nugget stuff' intake as well? I am planning to also use some sealant at the snorkel/body join to ensure that is water-tight.

    Any experiences/feedback would be welcome!

    My 2013 D90 now has a Nugget kit. The OEM pipe has a join on the underside, I saw an article on here about it somewhere... Probably try searching for Nugge t or something.

    My other tip would be to ensure you seal the mounting points to the windscreen piller.... ask me how I know.

    Found the link to the previous forums now... Answer is clear... will be fitting the kit!

    Thanks for the info about the windscreen pillar as well mate... I won't ask!
