That is tidy mate! Some skills you've got there, as this is the first time I've ever seen something fit the back "corner" as good as that!

You should sell your pattern to one of the manufacturers. I would go for a few different options in switches, lighting and auxiliaries (I'm getting too old to justify the speakers ), but that's really a very good idea.

Here are some more pics of the early stages for anyone keen to make one themselves.
I use 9mm marine ply and 3mm craftwood for the bendy bits.
I only used 2 screws to hold it in just above the rear door

Did you paint this to match the headliner, or cover it in fabric?

Yes I covered it in fabric.
It's is a little lighter than the plastic trim in my defender.
Got the fabric from Bunnings.
