Fir tree clips - what size for a 110?

    Hey all,

I am looking for some longer fir tree clips for my newish 110, but I am unsure as to the hole diameter.
By the look of the clips, I'd guess it is a 5-6mm hole, but i'm really not sure.

    Anyone?

    Depends on where they go...

I've come accross loads of different sizes in my tinkering and they vary from 5mm in the door frames to 10mm in the rear trim panels. Often 3 different sizes on the same panel! They also use spring steel clips in a number of places (3 different types) which only Land Rover sell at 75c ea

I believe if you buy both 6mm and 8mm you will cover most applications, but you'll still find the odd different one.

    Cheers,

    Lou

Sorry, didn't realise that they were in other panels as well as the headliner.

I am talking about the headliner - The previous owner installed some thin foam, which is great for insulation, but not so good for my short clips, so I will try to find some longer ones.

The one place I haven't had a look yet...

    Hopefully someone else knows more!

    Cheers,

OK, I'm calling them 6mm for most, but possibly larger for the ones between the front and back seats.
