    Side steps for Defender90

Hi, Picking up my new D90 in a week (ordered back in June 14!!...talk about hand crafted). I'd like to put a set of side bars/steps/rock sliders on it ASAP. Tossing up between the Landybitz side steps or the APT rock sliders. Any suggestions gratefully accepted. Thanks Pete

Not sure what brand the Landybitz ones are, but if they are Terrafirma, I'd go for APT's.

Everything APT makes is world class and I've seen the Terrafirma ones "move" on the front mounts on a couple separate occasions (different cars). One of those have actually folded the front wing a little from the bottom upwards.

My own Terrafirma ones have served me well, but if I lived over east I would have opted for the APT ones.

    Cheers,

    Lou

Thanks Loubrey for the feedback regarding the Landybitz bars. I've actually now gone with Mulgo side bars and an APT bull bar. Got to see the Mulgo & APT side bars in the and just prefer the Mulgo. Hope I've made the right choice.

Please post a pic when you get them fitted,

although Ben at APT has offered to build me a set of scrub bars/side steps to tie in to the APT Bull Bar, but not quite sure if i want scrub bars
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

APT Fabs gets my vote, its nicely made and thought out...

Yes, which is why I sell and fit Ben's gear, the front steering guard is what won me over..
