Q- is it likely to me slave or master???

Easiest way to tell which it is, is to see where the fluid is going to. If it is running doen the pedal, master cylinder, if running out the wading plug hole when you remove it, it is the slave cylinder. I would be inclined to replace both, and possibly the flexible hose as well. It is just possible there is a leak from somewhere in the plumbing, but this is extremely unlikely, and should be fairly easy to spot.

The slave cylinder can be ordered from any of the on-line suppliers, sorry, can't help with WA. The master cylinder from the same source, or they are commonly available from any trailer parts supplier, Repco, or probably most other auto parts places, as they are the one used on most trailers with override hydraulic brakes.

As John suggested below-most likely leaking slave cylinder as master leak would be pretty obvious. Not a big deal to replace just make sure you order the correct one (can't recall the part no but it's the 1" bore) -also when you remove the existing slave try to pull it away gently and get some long nose pliers on the pushrod to hold it while removing the slave compltely otherwise you may pull the pushrod right out from plastic clip on clutch fork and let me tell you you'll have fun trying to get that back on insitu. Good luck!

    Thanks for replies.
so going to landy the next day after all the trouble and it was fine... No leaks to be found... I've ordered a new slave and keep with me now.
thought maybe it leaked after long journey or just had low fluid and got air.... I dunno but tomorrow I do a mother long trip sovwe'll see.

many thanks and especially bout the push rod and holding that in so doesn't pull out. Cheers

I would suspect the slave cylinder because it is vunerable to corrosion etc.
If the bellhousing wading plug is in there will not be any visable fluid leak as it all ends up inside the bellhousing. Take the plug out to check.
The slave will generally not need force bleeding as gravity will assist you. Open the slave bleed nipple after attaching a clear tube into a catch bottle under the bellhousing and keep filling the master as the fluid bleeds out the slave. When all the air has gone close the nipple and she should have good pedal feel.
    Hope this helps.
