Mine came with the car, so dont no where they came from.
But seem very heavy duty.
So I bent my 110 rear quarter panel on a steep rock climb on the weekend. It's the exact same damage as I did on the 90 last year. It occured from a sharp departure angle so basically hit from below.
My question is what has anyone else done for protection around this area?
I know there's options like the bar below but I can't see them holding much weight when hit hard.

I'm going to get Mulgo rear bumperettes. Apparently there the only ones that fit without modification if you have a wheel carrier.

They come highly recommended on this forum.
We sell the Shadow brand, they are probably the best quality defender product on the market, and you can have a version for spare wheel carriers.
I don't have a 110, but i do have a 90 coming and I will be fitting a set of the Shadows.

You must have come down hard , I come down hard on a spoon drain , with a big bang . There's me thinking what damage have I done , but when I looked It wasn't too bad , not as bad as your's . Like you be good to see what's out there , for a bit more protection !!.. Jim
Mine aren't specifically made for what caused your damage...mainly for sticks thrown up, roos & the odd reversing in scrub mishap. I used existing holes in the chassis rear & welded a bracket on the back of the steps. It really gets more use walking on for roof access, and resting stuff from the fridge on when looking for a beer.
Cheers

I have the terra firma bumperettes. No rear wheel carrier on my vehicle.
Haven't had any big crunches to date, so as yet untested
I've already posted a photo in my thread about my vehicle "Agnes".
