    Smile A/C Question

Hi, I'm a new member and this is my first post.

I just picked up a new 2015 D90 on Tuesday (very excited) and have a questions about the A/C controls. When the fan speed lever is at the '0' (off position) and I press the A/C button, on the air starts up. There is no difference between the off and 1 position. So I can't turn the A/C off when the button is pressed. Is that normal?

I spoke to the dealer about it and he said that was normal! Jeff

Some cars are designed like this, others won't turn the A/C on until the fan switch is on.

    Normal.
If you press the A/C button the A/C will work.
If you don't press the button, but just use the fan speed control, you'll just get fresh air, but no A/C.

    Welcome Jeff!

All very normal as the chaps have already stated. It confused me for a while too but I got used it.

Not sure if it's your first Defender but if you have any questions at all about absolutely anything to do with your vehicle, this is the first place to come and have a search.

There's not a lot that hasn't been thought of, asked and answered before.
