I got DBA549 for my 1999 130 from SuperCheap auto (special order) @ $71.79 each side
Hi guys,
Can anyone recommend were I can get a pair of rear disk rotors for my 99 Defender?
Mine are under size and need replacing and I thought the genuine ones and the DBA replacements were crazy money.
Also has anyone had any experience of the drilled and slotted alternatives. And are they worth it? I tow a CT.

I would suggest going Slotted only, not cross drilled...
Brakes are also not the place to become tight on cash - them and tyres are what work the hardest to keep you and your family alive!
Yes granted, I take my family's safety above anyone's. And if I had to pay for gen rotors then I would. Without thinking of it. But as the first response says, $142 from Supacheap as apposed to $260 from Repco (phone quote yesterday) even ebay could be silly.
Id rather have safety, and $120 in my pocket!
And I was thinking, if I'm going to spend the money, wouldn't I rather upgrade the disks and make it safer. Hence asking for real world feedback.
DBA088S T2 (slotted) on eBay for $176.00 +$25.00 delivered
Not a bad price... Victorian seller...
Hay Tombie,
Can I ask why you say only slotted, not drilled? I haven't had any experience with 4WD performance rotors. I had a set on my Falcon but they where on it from new and I've nothing to compare them too. And to be fair I didn't drive the car that hard that I took advantage of them.
Sure..
Cracking and stress fractures around the holes.
Also, offroad the holes trap mud, filling and then eating the pads quicker.
