Put a little oil on the silver spring loaded pin and make sure it's free to move. It should be quite tight but will move with a little pressure. Insert this end in first at the bottom and pull it carefully down and slightly forward. You should then be able to guide the top part of the arm into its recess and then the spring loaded clip mention at the start will pull the bottom edge in and snap tight.
    Hope this makes sense.

Hi I took mine off when I did my roof lining , plus put It back of course . From memory you have to twist It to get It off , and twist It to get it back on . It is just a snap clip fit . So try from say 45* rotation pushing , and It should snap on !!.. Jim
