So they've fixed the issue.

Apparently "the brake switch was out of adjustment causing it to think the brake pedal was still being pushed causing the abs pump to stay activated and the brakes to hang on if that makes sense".

They noticed it as soon as they drove it, and I certainly noticed the difference as soon as I got it back.

She's now running nicely, and I'm able to get out on the road to give plenty of waves :D.
