What revs are you doing when the problem is occurring ?
Do you have ABS on your 110 ?
So, it's day 7 and 250km into my brand new 110 and I think I've struck my first mechanical issue.
Twice today and once on Saturday, whilst driving in medium stop start traffic (ie, not the peak hour crawl), the car seems to get 'heavy'. It loses lots of revs in the shift between 3rd and 4th (up and down), and from 3rd to 2nd, and it feels like it's labouring along. If I put it in neutral, the car slows down very quickly, and their is no momentum or rolling. Even on an incline, it stays put with no brake and in neutral.
I check the handbrake 50 times, the transfer lever is in H, and the dashboard for warning signs, but nothing. It appears to correct it self if I turn the engine off and pull out the keys and start her up again after a 20-30 sec wait.
There is no doubt a sense of paranoia from my behalf, but the difference between the normal and the laboured driving is stark.
Before I head back to the dealer, has anyone experienced something like this, or can refer me to another thread?
Thanks in advance
Pete
Edit: there is no obvious difference in sound.

Does the hand brake lever pull all the way to the top or half way?. Pat
Between 2000 - 3000. Yes, it has ABS.
The paranoia in me thinks I can smell a faint hot/ burning smell when I get out and look around the car.
Edit: I have just driven the car again, and it occurs regardless of the stop start. 9.30pm and a free run, but the heaviness kicks in after a few stops.
Is the transfer lever engaging correctly? We've had problems with ours and it will be going back soon for another check. The initial issue apparently was 2 different sized washers being put in the wrong places.
