For some reason my MY15 feels a lot perkier than the MY14 I test drove at the dealership.

Could just be a maximized tune in the new Defender but still have the same peak power figures?

Were they both the same ie 110 or 90? We've got one of each the 110 is a lot slower and steadier and the 90 is a lot nippier and feels faster.

They were both 110's and I remember that I really had to get stuck into the demo whereas I find I'm not having to rev the new truck much at all when going through the gears to get up to speed.

Just looked on the land rover website. In the section describing the celebration editions, it mentions the power upgrade ONLY with reference to the autobiography edition, which would rule out AUS deliveries I'm guessing

The 150HP upgrade is ONLY fitted to 90 editions, of the Adventure, and of course the Autobiography which only comes as a 90.....as I said in Post 9 of this thread..

Not according to Austral Land Rover in Brisbane, no engine upgrade for Australian delivered cars.
