AUS model 90 Rear mud flaps

    Hi

Im modifying my 110 rear mud flaps at it just keeps eating them.

Looking on Microcat it shows an AUS 90 rear mud flap with what it calls straight exhaust.

Does anyone please have or can take me a picture of an exhaust side mud flap showing both the fllap and the rear exit exuaust on a 90 I can see.

The UK car is sort on 50/50 side/rear exit on a 90 so I think is different tot he AUS car.

    Regards Pete

    Hi Pickles

They just arrived, please pass on my thank you to her. they are perfect and exactley what I needed to see.

AUS 90 striaght exhaust mud flaps for fitting into UK 110 without them rubbing on the tyres.

Job done with no mods to the exhaust though ive cut mine already hehe.

Do some more research about the mudflaps melting before you go ahead.

Trips at speed and it seems particularly if you are towing result in the mudflap lifting up into the hot exhaust and melting. This happened to mine and it was replaced by Land Rover while the car was still under warranty but it seems they are only replacing melted units with the same mud flap and it is likely to happen again...

Unless you want to keep buying left hand mudflaps don't do it. The left hand mudflat will alway melt at highway speeds.

Someone on here did a modification to his mud flap.
A search may bring up the thread with pictures.
Basically he added a small piece of checker plate to the bracket and the mud flap.
This stoped the mudflap from contacting the exhaust.
    Cheers, Kyle

I don't think the mudflap actually makes contact with the exhaust itself, just lifts up into the hot gas.

The attached is after a drive in the w/e with most speeds at 100k and the section between Seymour and Shepparton and back at around 110k.
