Thread: Road rage incident Gold Coast

I thought I would post this in the hope the owner of dark coloured (black/grey) Defender 110 (or could've been a 90) that was involved in a road rage incident at the on-ramp to the M1 (north bound) near Reedy Creek, Gold Coast is a member on here or if any members know of the owner. This incident occurred just after 5pm today.

I was about 100-150 meters behind on the on-ramp and I missed what caused the initial incident but did see the driver or passenger of a mid-2000 blue/silver Subaru Impreza wagon throw a glass bottle at the black Defender, which shattered on impact. The cars were side-by-side at the time.

From there, the driver of the Subaru, who on the right side, purposely blocked the defender from entering M1 from the on-ramp for about 200 meters at a very slow pace. This meant the defender had to drive on the shoulder of road. Eventually the defender pulled in behind but the Subaru driver was still driving extremely slow. The defender then followed the Subaru for several Kms before I lost sight of them.

Regardless of who caused the incident, the throwing of projectile out of a car, even at crawling pace, is an idiotic thing to do and I assume would be of interest to the police. I'm more than happy to provide a statement of what I saw as a witness, if the owner of the Defender wishes to take it further.

Unfortunately, I was too far away to get the number plates of either car but was close enough to see what unfolded there.

This world bring out the best and worst of us very flawed humans.
