    A bunch of us on here use the X-Trousers, they really do help, and the stainless striker lasts a lot, lot longer than the nylon roller of the OE one.

    On a late night Maccas run, you get caught in the drive-through lane for about 7 minutes because the attendant has a family friend on a property with an old truck that looks exactly like your 2014 model, and wants to talk about it

    You know when you are about to be a defender owner ...
    ....after you and the missus test drive one and she books tickets to fly to another state to look at two more. Knowing full well that driving for 12hours with three kids under 8 and being 29 weeks pregnant could make a challenge for her. Constantly making sure she takes the wheel every 2 hours on the trip home to 'get used to a manual' again.
    What a trooper.

    At the servo about to refuel yesterday, I saw a little bloke about 7 years old checking out the 110 and his mum chatting to him with big smiles on their faces.

    When I got out, he marches up and says, "Nice car, mate!" in his best big boy voice

    I said, "thank-you, mate", and he boldly stated "You should let me have a go of it".

    I said, "Maybe when you're seventeen" to which his mum replied, "You have no idea. He is already saving his money for one."
