    Fitting 2" Wider Flares

    Morning all
What did you do with the gap on the front between the new 2" extra wide flares and the inner engine gaurd?
I seem to have a gap around 70mm or so....
Also the rear flares sits up a lil higher at the back when offered up?
The car dose have sliders on and the originals sat against the ends of them.
the bigger flares will have to sit on top unless i cut the sliders down......Dont really want to cut em
Thanks for any info you may have

Just cut the inner bits off your original flares front flares and use them to cover the gap between the inner guard and the alloy guard, or otherwise just use some rubber and screw/bolt it in place.

Just noticed in your signature thingy that you have a 94, 300tdi.

You will have on it, galvanised inner guards, they are so much better than the crappy plastic inner guards of the TDCi's.

Yes it dose, so a good fixing both sides for a piece of rubber.
Dont want to cut up the originals as there in good condition.

I used plastic gardening edge to fill the gap. If memory serves me, it was 120mm wide and about 4mm thick. My gap was 110mm so the edging was a cheap and convenient solution. MLD
