Has anyone been able to purchase an extended warranty?

I'm not really interested in the debate regarding merits or otherwise of an extended warranty but am interested if anyone has BEEN ABLE to purchase one from Land Rover - ever, on a defender.

I purchased a 110 in 2011 and was 100% offered one and turned it down, I ordered another 110 in March and was offered one, accepted but am not paying for the car for another 6 weeks. Went to the dealer he informed me the extended warranty was no longer offered.

Interested in what others have been able to purchase and when.

 Thanks
 Jim

I thought about it in 2013,...was told by the Dealer that it was not available for Defender,...and I certainly wouldn't get an after market one.
 Pickles.

					That's terrible, if somewhat understandable.

Still, it doesn't say much for their confidence in the product.

Allianz which is the roadside assistance used by JLR dont have extended warranty options for the defender. I know as I used to sell extended warranties for them.
