    Defender swinging sun visor?

Has anyone here, or know of someone who has fitted swinging sun visors to a defender? if so, could you provide any details? I'd like to be able to get eye shade from sun through the drivers side window, and might as well do both as the head lining shell is out for a paint job.

I've been wondering the same and have a set of Disco visors but no obvious way of making them work in the Defender.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

It would be easy to add a bigger mounting plate to the windscreen frame. The original is made of two narrow strips pop riveted on. just need help on finer details.

    The issues are:

    - The Defender sun visor doesn't have a hinge.
    - The Disco visor doesn't work all that well with the Defender mirror location.

Are you lot all vertically challenged?

If I even think about dropping the visor - I cant see the road

I duck to look out the side windows when turning corners....

A small one of those scissor action visors like they have for bus drivers would be good.

Im like Tombie though, my eyes are almost level with the top of the side window.

With the seat raiser, I sit very high which is great and now I have a Zaphod-Beeblebrox Sun visor. At the first sign of danger, I pull down the sun visor and I cant see what is about to happen.
