    Engine bay wash down

    Hay all.
Just thought I would ask what people do to keep their engine bay clean.
Done a couple of mud runs lately and my usual hose down is not cutting it.
Am a little hesitant to use the pressure wash on it.
Any tips or tricks please share.
    Thanks all

I use a garden weed sprayer with CT18 or CT20 truck wash mixed in it. Let it soak for a few minutes then blast away with the pressure washer. I'd rather know in my driveway if my Landy can't cope with water rather than halfway across a creek. Only my S2a has some issues with running on all cylinders after a pressure wash, but that's only because it's got a Holden 202 in it. (One or two cylinders will spark across from the suppressor caps when wet). My 101 and the Deefer90 have no issues with a pressure wash.

Maybe I need to be not so precious about my defender. CT 20 sounds like a plan.

I just cover the Pumas computer with glad wrap and try not to blast too much water on it anyway.
As others do I use a garden sprayer with truck wash and it comes up reasonable...... not that I bother too much about washing off hard won dirt and stains.

I use Nolans Brook or the Murray, never had any issues with either of them?
