    Springs

Are 130 front springs the same as 110?

Reason for asking is I have a set of heavy duty 110 front springs and was wondering if they would fit my new project, being a 130.

I'm only talking about front springs.

If LR HD then the 110HD and 130 coils are the same rate (same coil). If aftermarket you'll need to get the manufacturer's specs to compare. For example the Dobinson HD front suitable for a winch bar + winch (marketed as a +2" lift) is 285 lbs/in which is considerably firmer than the 130 factory coil (225 lbs/in). I had the Dobinsons fitted to a 130 and the front still flexed up OK and it kept the nose in check in the corners. They were firm driving over speed bumps and other imperfections. The LR HD (225 lbs/in) is a nice balance between firmness and compliance. MLD

I think the ones I have are Kings and they are standard height heavy duty 110. The 130 has a bar and winch, which is the main reason for wanting to fit them.
