looking at putting B'Bar and winch on ordered 110. When viewing options pack it would seem every other model has H'Duty suspension however the manual indicates not applicable to 110.
Does this mean I can only fit a more robust suspension as an aftermarket afterthought and secondly....do I Really need to beef up the suspension(Fully loaded family of 5 to do Cape York?
Cheers

Part numbers are nrc9448 and nrc9449. Try and buy from the place that will be installing them as they will no doubt appreciate the business.
The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

Did the ex factory HD 3500 GVM option for the 110 include chassis mods, Webbing?, or was it Springs and rims only?
Am I right in saying 130 front and 130 inner coils rear to get HD Springs?
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Springs and rims were the only difference; chassis was the same. I used to own a "HD" 110 Defender and went over the chassis to find the differences, there were none (unless internal, but I doubt that).
Thanks, that gives me a theoretical option to increase the GVM, always regretted not getting the HD option
Do you have a plate anywhere stating 3500 kg

Will depend what you want. LR springs can be good. I have Kings Springs on mine. Fairly cheap and if you can get through Covs usually cheaper again. Not a real hard job to change, more just time consuming. Kings make HD units and then also lifted (they say 50mm but is more like 35-40mm with the weight you want to add).
Personally if you are going to do it I would do the whole lot, front rear and shock absorbers plus put air bags in the rear.
A lot will depend on your budget.

With the LR HD front coils and a HD rear coil (either a dual coil set up or an aftermarket HD coil) you can re-engineer the 110 to 3500kg GVM (normally 3050 kg). The 130 is 3500 GVM from factory and as far as i'm aware you can't go above the 3500 kg even if you fit aftermarket HD coils on the 130.
When I re-engineered my 110 there was no plate issued, just noted on the modification certificate from the RTA. Re-engineered by an certifying engineer not a factory option.
Rolly - stick with the LR HD front coil. At 225 lbs/in it's a nice balance between firmness and compliance returning your height to factory after fitting the BB and winch. I say that as someone that has 4 sets of aftermarket coils under the house in the search for the ideal set up for me. I found that the aftermarket coils gain height by increasing the coil rate (significantly) utilising the same free length which translates into a firm front end. Fine for daily driving, not so good if you want to retain the subtleness of the factory LR suspension. Before fitting aftermarket coils, ask for the specs and compare to the factory coil specs. That will give you an indication how they will feel. I've posted a few times with the coil data so search for suspension posts.
My recommendation see if you can find someone selling lightly used 130 front coils.
