Got a call and email from Melbourne City Land Rover to let me know my vehicle had rolled off the production line a week ago and was scheduled for delivery February 17th, which is the month they originally specified.
Can't wait to start waving at the other Defenders I see, once I'm behind the wheel.
So exciting - I have a great time trying to spot a Landy / Defender coming my way - the wave is obligortary of course - but just spotting one in my area makes my day - the return wave is icing on the cake!Quote:

So I reckon 6 months has always been about the go, if it's an order to your spec, that has to be built "for you", at Solihull.
So, whilst the wait is long (We could've done without it!), it makes the eventual delivery, even more "exciting",.....we were always "counting down the days"!!...and Gracie has been worth every one of them & more.
