Take a look at my post (#143) on page 15. Prixcar handles the stuff between the boat and the dealer. Mine took just over 2 weeks after landing to reach the dealer. And then they need a few days to prep the car.

Thanks for that, your earlier post has been very useful in keeping an eye on the car's whereabouts. I guess I was just interested in what was involved in the whole process. i.e. customs clearance and other checks.Quote:

Mine isn't expected at the dealership until the 28th of February, after docking on the 4th, it does seem like a while doesn't it...

Mine was sitting at the dealers waiting for a buyer - once I did the test drive I was hooked. I waited a week and a half due to mostly my availability to pick it up - and that wait was too long for me!
Collection is Friday! I'll be flying down to Albany that morning with my other half to collect the car and spend a bit of time exploring the Great South.
Fairly excited now :D:D
