    Defender...not in the desert but...

    You lot cross deserts in your Defenders. We don't have deserts but some of the locals had a different idea...

    I saw a photo that showed a propeller. It look like it was driven from a pto.

    Reminds me of 'Halfsafe'. The jeep that crossed the Atlantic from the US to Europe and went on to drive and sail around the rest of the world.

    Interestingly it is now housed at my sons former school. Halfsafe's owner was a former pupil.

    I went to GGS. Loved stopping to look at the Half-Safe. If interested the latest edition of Smith Journal ( magazine) has an article on the Half-safe and Ben Carlin.
