On the subject of sound deadening etc, I'm looking at sound deadening and carpet.

Has anyone fitted the noise killer kit (or something like it) and had the Exmoor carpet kit as well? Or did the Exmoor carpet do the job by itself?

What is the finish of the noise killer kit? Rubber, carpet?

I'll have to look into that, the gutters were filled up with mastic by the previous owner. I don't really get torrents of rain, just trickles, enough to wet the sound proofing foam and carpet and cause it to go mouldy if I don't air them out.
