Said hello to the boys, it was a tools down let's all figure what the issue is sort of morning. Learnt a few things and was given a lot of free advice, all of it welcome indeed.

Seems the noise isn't my gearbox, its the engine, you just can't notice it as much (except for them, but they are the experts!).

Dropping it off at KLR tomorrow on recommendation from a new land rover buddy (and the general consensus on here as well). General thought is it might be the harmonic balancer, which seems right.

Will keep you all posted.
