    shredded rear top shocky bushes

had to do a trip over the weekend to a bushfire which needed about 400km on highway. a few unusual noises started about half way which appears to be shredding of the top shock absorbers bushes. Truck normally just runs around home or doing farm stuff They were OME yellow ones and yes a few years old.

not sure if failure is due to age or upcoming mechanical failure somewhere else.

    Any thoughts?

By shredded have they fell apart in strips or have they crumbled into pieces? The yellow bush's do seem to fall apart when a few yrs old I have found and they do crumble. Maybe the long road run induced more heat and shock loading than paddock work did.

Grease They need to be greased when installed, and then maintained

Ah yes, should have mentioned that, though I took grease as a given. I have had them crumble from age even with greasing
