Puma Fuel Sender
I had to pull the tank out due to a leaky hose and finally got it back in only to find the fuel sender isn't working. I dont really have time to pull the tank back out again right now but I am wondering if the fuel sender isn't working is it just going to go straight into limp/shutdown mode?

The answer is no.
And shorting the wires doesnt trick it into thinking the tank is full either......

to clarify, do you mean a malfunctioning fuel sender sends the ECU into limp mode?
