			TD5 EU2 Defender map for NNN5000020 ECU

					Hi guys

I just bought an ECU off a forum member (thanks dodgy).

I need to give it a bit of a clean (previous car has had oil in the harness) before I install. There is plenty of info on how to install it and change setting etc.

I will however need a default map for it, does anyone know where to get a standard one from? I want to make sure it all runs etc before I get a remap done, and it came out of an EU3 D2a which from what I can tell won't work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 Joe

You need a Nanocom or similar to read the file. You will also need to get the injector numbers. The Nanocom or similar scan tool should read them but I double checked by removing the rocker cover anyway and wrote the numbers down. I bought a second hand ECU of Triumph Rover Spares in Vic with a remap to suit. I just had to load in the injector numbers from memory. If I was doing it again however I wouldn't go with Triumph Rover Spares, I asked and they advised not to adjust the boost. I found this odd but didn't do it as they advised not to. I warped a exhaust manifold.

To me this means they don't fully understand what they are doing, I would go with Davis Performance if I was to do it again. I have had a bit to do with them over the last couple of years on different land rovers and they are really good.
