I hit mine with Meguiars Wet-Look Polish once every couple of months, takes ten minutes and gives it a light sheen. Not really a permanent solution though.
Hello all,
Probably been done before, prior to me joining so apologies in advance.
Has anyone got a preferred method for cleaning/oiling/covering the rear part of the chassis below the rear door on the 90's. My 2012 needs a little attention.
Thank you

Hello Mjt084,
That's what I was after, much appreciated.
I use Autoglym Bumper & Trim Gel. It also adds a light sheen but needs to probably be applied after every wash.
It is very easy to apply and the thing I like is you can use it on the door rubbers and plastic parts light side mirrors.
Thank you Aguy, appreciated.
Anybody got any ideas on a more permanent solution to glossing up the plastic bits? Looking to paint (gloss black) the mirrors, headlight surrounds, and grill at the very least; they're looking fairly faded after 20 years, but I don't want to end up with a flakey finish a couple of months later.
Cheers

I took my 2012 110 back to the dealer because mine faded heaps and they organised it to be resprayed by a spray painter. Made it look 100% but just make sure if you have a towbar to remove it as they wouldnt remove mine and spray under it.
