Replacing the battery when there's a full house

    2008 Puma Wagon. 'Monty'.

I had a dual battery installation done by the great Daniel Fluckiger (Mulgo) a couple of years ago. The incumbent cranking battery was retained so it's as full as a bull's bum in there with no wiggle room at all.

The cranking battery itself though, has finally pulled stumps after a barely believable 7 year innings without a single whinge. So, I need to replace it.

But, I live in the Central Coast and need to order a battery in because nobody has the right ones to fit the cavity. I took the car to an Auto Electrician (thank you LR Assist) and the chap there measured the battery dimensions and ordered one in but he's only ordered 700CCA whereas the existing one is 800CCA.

Does anyone know the specification of the replacement?
Or, is there a suitable alternative that I can get hold of easily that will still fit in the space that the existing one takes up?

Keen, as always, to hear the wisdom of experience.

I also have a home fit dual battery setup, I recently replaced the original for another varta that has a higher cca and amp hour rating, and it was about 300 bucks cheaper than a LR original varta.
I picked it up from battery world.
The LR original model number is LDF90
The new varta is exact same dimensions

    Thanks Jack

I eventually took the dimensions and asked George at WWAA to order a replacement for me that was at least 800 CCA which is what the original was.

He ended up finding a 900 CCA battery and it fit like a glove.

I've already forgotten the name and details of it but I'll upload them here when I find out.
