    Cool Heated Seat Installer

As I ordered my 110 with cold climate pack, my wife has told me she also wants heated seats now for her 90. After a bit of calling and previous discussions with installers, most companies that install heated seats just do so with a button the side of the seat. Has anyone had experience with or could recommend an installer who will install with genuine LR dash switches as per a factory look with the heated seats??

I think heated seats in a Defender would be pretty rare, especially in Australia.

In my RRV the heating element is part of the lower trim. It shouldn't be too complicated to install after you locate the trim and switch. You could go to LR with your VIN and order identical replacement parts. Ask the price first.

Exmoor trim do heated seat kits but they don't use the factory switches. I would think that the switches are available as spare parts.

Their kits don't come with original switches, but they do also sell them:

    Try this
Search results for: 'heated seat' - Paddock Spares

For special switches try eBay, AliExpress or RS Components

So I have taken delivery of my car with the 'cold climate pack'.

The seats are more like warmers not heaters. They are not hot at all compared to many previous brands I have experienced? Can anyone else confirm this?

The seats in my 130 don't seem to get very hot either but I haven't tried them for an extended period.

11.50GBP, about AU$25 each from exmoor according to the link, is an absolute steal for those switches.
