Cranked trailing arms
I've just ordered some double cranked rear trailing arms for the 95 130, I haven't put a 2"lift in yet but intend to in the following 12months as budget permits. Will the bushes bind up as they are at std height? Or is the load on the bushes to great since it isn't lifted yet ?

I have cranked arms on my 130 and it rest the pin in the bush looks to have no angle what so ever so I would assume it would be just like put stock arm with a two in lift... The bushes will just flog out quickly

Double cranked trailing arms are usually designed for vehicles with at least 3 inches of coil lift.
I would wait until you have the coils to fit.

The springs and shocks are coming in a month or two can you go 2.5"Spring lift before getting driveline vibrations , 95 model 300tdi defender? Or what's the limit before a dc drive shaft is required. Reason being I am thinking of lifting the tray a bit to give clearance for taller tyres and possibly better articulation but with more static and dynamic Clarence would that work ?

There are plenty of people running 3 to 4 inch lift in TDI and td5 defenders with no vibration issues. Pumas are another story though.
My personal choice is 2inch coil lift with 35 inch tyres. Im not a fan of large coil lifts.
